Participation Guidelines

1 . Seminar Schedule
The seminar schedule will be provided at a later date.
2 . Language
The seminar will be conducted in English. Participants are expected to have sufficient proficiency in English to fully understand the lectures and actively engage in discussions.
3. Qualifications for Admission
1) Departmental general managers, managers, or personnel of equivalent rank responsible for areas relevant to the seminar topics.
2) A minimum of three years of work experience in the life insurance industry.
4. General Requirements
1) All participants must represent their respective institutions.*
2) Full attendance at all seminar sessions, including the welcome reception, is required.
3) Participants must be in good health and are required to purchase overseas travel insurance for personal protection before traveling to Japan.**

*Individual applications cannot be accepted without a recommendation from a responsible person at your institution.
**FALIA assumes no responsibility for any accidents or issues involving participants or their accompanying persons during the seminar.

5. Screening Process

If the number of applicants exceeds the seminar capacity, FALIA will conduct a screening process. Selection will be based on:

  1. Diversity of countries represented
  2. Eligibility for the seminar
  3. Order of application (first-come, first-served)
6. Expenses

Costs borne by participants:

  1. Travel expenses to and from Japan
  2. Transportation between the airport and the accommodation on arrival and departure days
  3. Transportation between the seminar venue and the welcome reception venue
  4. Accommodation at Hotel Grand Arc Hanzomon (Approximately JPY 182,900 for 9 nights, including breakfast.)
  5. Meal expenses, except for weekday lunches during the first three days and the farewell lunch during the off-site outing (On the fourth and fifth days of the program, please enjoy lunch freely at any place of your choice.)
  6. Any other personal expenses

Costs borne by FALIA:

  1. Weekday lunches for the first three days and the farewell lunch during the off-site outing
  2. Costs of scheduled social events, such as the welcome reception and the off-site outing

No tuition or participation fees will be charged for the seminar.

7. Certificate of Completion

Participants who complete the seminar will receive a Certificate of Completion and a commemorative FALIA badge. Certificates will not be issued to those who do not attend the full duration of the seminar.

8. Cancellation Policy
If the seminar is canceled before or during its duration due to circumstances beyond FALIA’s control, FALIA will not compensate participants for any expenses incurred in preparation for the seminar.

Before you apply
